Alleged Mosque attackers have their day in court

Two people appeared in court today in relation to the attacks on several Mosques and Islamic centres in Auckland in July.

The first person arrested in connection with the attacks has had his name suppression continued until his next court date in a month.

The second person, however, does not have name suppression and FDB can reveal that he is Ross Baumgarten of Auckland. FDB regulars will recognise that name, as Ross is a long time member of the National Front and was made youth representative after Brendon Rimmer was forced to resign earlier in the year. More recently, Ross (who is also known by his online alias Fizx) was helping new National Front Patriot Party head Sid Wilson to rebuild the organisation.

The two will reappear in court in a months time.
