Of course, now that Lachlan is in charge of the PYL, we’re sure he’ll be learning all sorts of fascinating things about terrorism - Australia First has got that schtick covered from A for “Arson of Brisbane Bookshops and Private Residences” to Z for “Ze numerous violent assaults and attempted murders perpetrated by members of Australia First.”

Well, now it seems that the kitchen was far too hot for Mr. Black, and he has fled the scene of the crime… and who is Lachlan Black’s replacement?

None other than “Carly White.”

What particular aspect of the Patriotic Youth League was so undesirable that it would cause Lachy to drop the potato as soon as we pointed out his connection to everybody’s favourite violent skinhead gang?

Hmmm…

Let’s look at this a little bit closer. The official PYL site now reads like this:

The mind boggles. Lachlan was very happy to be the public face of the PYL up until we pointed out the fact that he was, suddenly the mysterious and presumably fictitious “Carly White” has taken the reins. Actually let’s not be overly presumptuous. Carly probably is a real person, but whether or not she’ll actually be reviewing any PYL applications that come in is a completely different story.

Lachy old son, your days of flying under the radar are well and truly over.

IronBrotherhood eats his spinach; grows into respectable member of society

Way back when, in early 2005, the Australian wing of the New Zealand National Front began operating in Sydney, Austalia - and, depending on who you asked, they were allied to the openly neo-Nazi White Pride Coalition of Australia or they were allied to the less openly neo-Nazi Patriotic Youth League.

As it turned out, they were in bed with both, and FDB’s birth was largely as a response to this international co-operation between these Australian and New Zealand far right groups.

One of the senior figures in all this was Darren M.

Darren was the founder of NF Australia, was a member of the WPCA, and for a while was listed as the Sydney president of the PYL. The whole thing got very messy, with accusations of paedophilia from the NF (since retracted and apologised for) and threats of litigation from us, and eventually NF Australia was “blown out of the water” and it’s members mostly dropped out of the scene.

At the conclusion of the mess, Jim Saleam wrote a rather fanciful account of the affair which was disputed by both FDB and Darren. To put it bluntly, the mad old bastard made the whole thing up.

That was around a year ago. Besides the virus we were recently sent that appeared to come from Darren (the email address had been spoofed - it wasn’t actually him) we had not heard nothing from the guy since he dropped out of the scene, so it was very refreshing to recieve a message from him the other day telling us that he’d gotten his life back on track.

hello pplz..
i decided to search my name on ur forum and got some funny stuff back.It was inspired by a mate telling me that i was on fightdemback for sending a virus and he wondered how the fuck i figured out how to hahaha to bad i already read it(to answer questions,no i didnt send a virus..im a dumb shit with comps,no idea why use thought i did).Anyhoo i thought id send a thank you message to FDB.

But first, to clear up some things..
i was not at the sydney forum,kromlek wants to kill me and most of Aus first do aswell.Dunno why cam sexheimer said he met me when i wasnt there…
Umm what else..Yeh like to send a big Fuck you to Darp for giving out my name when i was told he wasnt going to..but compared to wat i said about him..a name isnt such a bad payback hahahha sorry bout all that darp.

Anyhoo to the point of this post..
I dont like many of you mostly because i still think it was low to harrass a youngen like i was with 0 self confidence.I know use had your reasons..but from my view it was a very scary thing to happen.But i think it was needed,because if i was still a racist i wouldnt be the person i am now.
So Thank you FBD for reforming me to a normal member of society again..these days i enjoy hitting the piss at parties and hanging out with mates as opposed to hanging out with old men and sticking stickers everywhere.
There is alot more to life than what i experienced but it was a invaluble life lesson.I think i matured 10 fold in that short space of time that i “fell from grace”.I am a much more confident person today and i respect other peoples views.When i was in the WN scene i was such a little fuckwit.I was 60kgs of nothing..thought i was massive..king of the world..hated everyone and judged everyone on their colour.I aint no anti-racist but i am drastically different.
My teachers and mates find it hell funny that i used to be a mini hitler wannabe.I cop heaps of shit occasionly but it all in good fun(my nick name is now sharpy or sharpOi cuz of the Sharp skinheads).
Just wanna send out a bit of advice to FDB and WN..dont let the internet and politics rule your life..theres so much more out there.If you keep it as a hobby or sumtin then thats fine but dont let it run your life,you only get like 80 or 90 so years at it.

We’re somewhat hesitant about publishing this on the front page, as we don’t wish Saleam, Peter Campbell (Kromlek) & Co. to harrass Darren further, however Darren’s story is an important one that some need to hear…

Darren was looking for his place in the world, and he latched onto “White Nationalism.” It promised answers and it promised community - what it delivered was a bunch of sad old men spouting incoherent rhetoric, though this was a community of sorts.

Unfortunately for Darren, when he decided he’d rather live a less dramatic life, his so-called white nationalist “friends” revealed their true colours and turned on him with ferocity.

This is not a phenomena unique to the Australia First Party/White Pride Coalition of Australia/Patriotic Youth League - it is a scene played out over and over again in different neo-Nazi groups around the country and around the world.

Young white nationalists should take note: The elder statesmen of the Scene - the Saleams, the Innes’, the Van Tongerens, the Campbells, the Palmers - are not your friends. Their interest is in recruiting footsoldiers to fight wars that exist only inside their own heads, and if you dare dissent, be prepared to cop it with both barrels: figuratively and sometimes literally.

If you have become involved with one of these groups, and feel you have gotten in over your head, there are people who can help. You can call people like the Kid’s Help Line (1800 55 1800) for free and confidential advice, or if you’re over 18, call Lifeline (13 11 14) for the cost of a local phone call, from anywhere in Australia.

This punk is interested in a lot of things: Preserving family values (he runs a website for a pornography/butt plug distributor), preserving Australian values (he has a stash of Hitler videos and is more interested in the purer form of fascism”), and generally being too cool for school (he is both suave and debonair).

Despite resigning from Australia First in December (We refuse to believe that an Australia First member would lie to us!) he has been made the Australia First branch secretary for the “Shire.”

Presumably this means the Sutherland Shire… but we can dream:

As we reported recently, following the revelation of the involvement of senior Australia First figures in the organisation of openly neo-nazi gigs in Newcastle, the national mouthpiece of the Patriotic Youth League (AF’s youth corps) upped stumps, saying that there were too many Nazis in Oz First and they were holding the party back.

Update: Breaking News!

There is some consternation in the FDB ranks as to whether Darrin’s promotion (which is quite obviously a promotion) is in fact a promotion.

Says a dissenter: “I wouldn’t call it a promotion ..it’s just that he’s the only guy daft enough to do it.”

Luke Connors laying into Jeremy Costello on Stormfront made some pretty damn good copy the other day.

We figured, if the lad got that pissed off about an Australia First member not only sieg heiling a Rabbi, but then having such a sheer lack of self-preservation that he would tell a JOURNALIST about it… well, imagine how he would feel about senior Australia First figures organising Blood & Honour gigs.

We thought he’d probably be a bit cheesed off, but we didn’t think that he’d throw in the towel.

That said Dr Jim is not a nazi, neither are a most of the people in Aus first or the PYL but until the few {influential} Nazis are thrown out most of those good people will toil away for nothing. Its sad but its the way it is.

Its been great and we did try to do some good things {not from your perspective but thats life, opinions are like arseholes…. } but the actions of a few ended in the discrediting of all. Here’s the gist of this story:

Senior Australia First figures have been organising openly neo-nazi gigs.

This sordid tale basically deals with the recent activities of Blood & Honour NSW. They held a gig at Newcastle’s Hamilton Hotel on Saturday the 25th of February. As you’ll see below, we knew about this event weeks before it happened. It was alluded to a wee bit in Dan Box’s recent article in the Aus.

First let’s take a squizz at how B&H are going in Germany.

Police raid suspected neo-Nazi haunts

BERLIN - Police raided more than 100 buildings across Germany today in a hunt for suspected members of the banned neo-Nazi group “Blood & Honour”.

In raids in Bavaria, they seized a hand grenade and a 7.65mm calibre pistol, police said. The 32-year-old owner of the live hand grenade said he had bought it “for decoration”.

Bavarian police also seized Blood & Honour memorabilia including 140 t-shirts, more than 30 CDs, numerous magazines, posters, video films, key chains, baseball caps, four PCs and eight mobile phones.

The memorabilia, which the police said could “spread National Socialist (Nazi) and racist ideologies”, is being evaluated by the police.

All Nazi and neo-Nazi regalia and insignia are banned in Germany. Neo-Nazi groups are small but watched carefully by security services.

Simultaneous raids in seven of Germany’s 16 states took place at 6.00am local time (6.00pm Tuesday NZT), the police said in a statement. Of the 119 premises searched, 37 were in Bavaria.

Six German states are investigating suspected members of “Blood & Honour Division Deutschland”, which has been banned in Germany since 2000 along with its youth wing “White Youth”.

The statement did not say if anyone was arrested, but that some 37 suspected Bavarian neo-Nazis were being investigated.

Blood & Honour was founded in 1987 by the British lead singer of the skinhead band Skrewdriver Ian Stuart Donaldson.

Newcastle gig recruited neo-Nazis

NAZI watchdog Mat Henderson-Hau has warned that a Blood and Honour concert held last weekend in Newcastle was likely to have been used as a recruiting event for local neo-Nazis.

“This was not just a concert. Blood and Honour packages its events as a very effective tool for recruitment” said Henderson-Hau, who operates the anti-Nazi website fightdemback.org.

Blood and Honour is an international neo-Nazi group that promotes local skinhead bands, organises concerts, spearheads political campaigns and is ultimately a magnet for white supremacists, according to Henderson-Hau.

“In the wake of the Cronulla riots the group is trying to kick-start their activities in NSW, using Newcastle as a launch-pad,” he said.

Henderson-Hau was disappointed that the police had not shut down the event because it “set a dangerous precedent arid further emboldened the cause of Blood and Honour.”

Newcastle Hebrew Congregation was vandalised in April last year with spray-painted swastikas and slogans such as “Jews must die.”

Local police made regular patrols of the synagogue last weekend but Sergent Gerard Lawson said: “We didn’t close [the concert] down because they weren’t breaking the law.”

Shul president David Gubbay said he was happy with the police response, although he added: “It makes me feel very uncomfortable [that such events are being staged in Newcastle].”

That’s strange, eh… Just after a neo-nazi gig in Newcastle, all those Patriotic Youth League fliers turned up…

Well, it’s no wonder when you look at the “thankyou list” for people who helped out with the gig.

Sydney Form 2005

That’s senior Australia First organiser Welf Herfurth on the far right, at the 2005 Sydney Forum.

Before jumping on the Australia First steam train, Welf was the president of the Riverstone (NSW) branch of the One Nation Party. Some years prior to that, he was an executive member of the German neo-nazi National Democratic Party. He also (of course!) has addressed the Holocaust-denying Australian League of Rights on a number of occasions.

It’s good to see Australia First is giving up the pretence of being anything other than neo-nazi scum. We’re big fans of honesty in politics here at FDB.

Also of note is the band which played at this event, Blood Red Eagle, whom the Patriotic Youth League advertised extensively on their website before it was deleted by it’s host for containing racist material.

Anti-immigration pamphlets target foreigners

From the ABC:

A year after anti-immigration leaflets and a subsequent rally caused widespread anger in Newcastle, similar pamphlets have again begun circulating in the city.

The Patriotic Youth League was behind last year’s rally, which linked an influx of Sudanese refugees with crime and gang-related activity.

The Australia First Party, which has links with the League, has this week distributed more leaflets under the heading “immigration is out of control”.

The director of the Newcastle Migrant Resource Centre, Violetta Walsh, says while the latest leaflets are not as inflammatory as previous ones, the message is clear.

“I think the message is absolutely crystal clear, you know, get them out of Newcastle, illegal immigration, any kind of immigration is out of control,” she said.

“Overseas students are targeted, the language is still very intemperate and incites racial and other hatred.”

Their neo-nazi links are well-documented on this site, but we can’t say as we ever actually had an official representative tell us about sieg heiling a Rabbi.

But Luke Connors, the media rep of the youth wing of Australia First, doesn’t go quite that far. He just reckons the offending parties should be kicked out:

…anyone doing something so blatently stupid should be kicked out of Australia First.

Publicity is just that. But Australia first needs to stop living in bloody fantasy lands and come out into the open.

People should not be yelling out at bloody jews from a passing friggin car window!!!!! That is STUPID, COWARDLY AND IDIOTIC!!!!! and the only thing more stupid is then TALKING ABOUT IT AT A POLITICAL MEETING WHERE ANYONE CAN HEAR IT AND LINK IT TO THE PARTY!!!!

Australia first need to lose some loose people. Having five respectable people in an area is a great idea!Ten times better than fifty idiotic old National Actioners.

And a council race is the perfect forum to spread views, especially in local papers, but when I see professionalism from that party I will believe it, there is still hope for them but the next year will show whether they are worth getting behind or not.

It’s good to see that Luke has his priorities straight. It’s worse to talk about sieg heiling a Rabbi than it is to actually do the deed.

Will Saleam take our mate Luke’s advice and expel Jeremy Costello and all the National Actioners - an act that would include the expulsion of Saleam?

Somehow we don’t think so. Luke’s word has never counted for much amongst the Sydney boys. Being the official media rep of the Patriotic Youth League - and therefore the only one with the authority to speak to the press - it sometimes seems that Luke is intentionally kept in the dark so that he can’t say the wrong thing.

When he has made comment as to the future direction of the PYL/AF in the past - declaring that they would distance themselves from the NZ National Front when their nazi links were becoming more obvious, for example - he has been summarily ignored by the top brass.

At FDB, we’re rubbing our thumbs and the fingers next to our thumbs together - indicating that we are playing the world’s TINIEST VIOLIN!

While most Australians rightly expressed their revulsion at the December 11 riots that took place in Cronulla and spread to neighbouring Sydney suburbs, many on the far-right see the events as a golden opportunity to achieve their objectives.

According to a report in The Australian, three far-right organisations were noticeable among the crowd of 5,000 who caused the ruckus in Cronulla. Racist pamphlets were distributed by Saleam’s organisation ‘Australia First’, and by the ‘Patriotic Youth League’ and ‘Blood and Honour.’ But while the majority of the mob were apparently Cronulla residents, the far-right elements, unsurprisingly, had come from further afield to inflame tensions. Matt Henderson-Hau, a Sydney resident who runs anti-fascist website Fightdemback.org, said he had information that the overwhelming majority of skinheads at the rally “came from the Central Coast, Newcastle and other parts of Sydney”.

A video was posted on “Stormfront” just hours after the drama. Presented by “White Nationalist TV”, and dubbed with music declaring repeatedly “All Hail, Victory!”, the camera followed the marching mass as they chanted “Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi”, followed by the more disturbing “F**k off Lebs”. The majority of the people in the video were clearly ‘surfies’ engaging in probably the first and last racially-motivated rally of their lives. Yet the neo-Nazi presence was clearly evident too, and the majority of the crowd was either unwittingly being used as extras in the film or just chose to ignore it. One skinhead who appeared on the footage had a black shirt with a three-pronged Swastika on the front and “Blood for Blood” written on the back. After the camera followed him, and a couple of other people who could also have passed for white supremacists, the film ended with a written message, “Not white, not welcome in Cronulla”.

Members of the “Stormfront” internet forum were in a celebratory mood in the days following the fracas. Summing up the feelings of many of his fellow “white nationalists”, one member remarked, “it was not an ugly mob… they were beautiful White Australians…I hope that this is the start of citizens abandoning ‘democracy’ and taking more responsibility for community policing.”

Others demonstrated an appalling lack of understanding of Australian history by invoking the good name of the ANZACs to justify their divisive and racist views. In a chilling call to arms, one person wrote “You are the sons of Anzacs…Our great grandfathers did the job in 1915, our grandfathers did the job in 1939, now in 2005 its OUR TURN…CRUSH LEBBO SKULLS UNDER YOUR FEET”. Another even went so far as to claim that John Simpson Kirkpatrick, of Simpson and his donkey fame, “would of (sic) supported these people who are standing up for the true Australia.”

There remains a realistic possibility of copycat performances. Perth has been a consistent target of white supremacists over the years, and it seems that some of them are now walking taller after the events in Sydney. One discussion on Stormfront centred on an SMS calling for people to head to Perth’s Scarborough and Mullaloo Beaches on the following weekend. One person revealed that recruitment remains a priority, saying “Theres [sic] a good chance that those ‘drunken louts’ could someday become a white nationalist. May as well organise something while everyone is fired up.” The far-right alert has also been raised across the Tasman, with reports that Wellington group “White Crusaders of the Racial Holy War” had raised its public profile in the wake of Cronulla.

Like minded extremists further afield have also drawn inspiration. On “Stormfront”, dozens of skinheads from around the globe rushed to congratulate “White Australia”. A commentator listing his location as Texas said, “I proud [sic] of you aussies down there. Give those pieces of **** hell.” In poor English, a Russian gushed “We all with hope and look admiration at Your country. Australia will be White!” An Australian responded: “I’ve been watching your Nationalist marches in recent times in awe. It’s great that we now have something to show.”

Many of those who were present in Cronulla will later be ashamed that they allowed their grievances to be hijacked by these extremists. Some have already come to that realisation. In a written statement, Cronulla surfer and self-labelled senior member of the community Brad Whitaker said, “The day began as a show of solidarity against behaviour of ethnic gangs that have been harassing the public on our beaches over a period of seven years. It escalated out of control under the influence of right-wing racists from outside this community…”

The violence perpetrated by the mob in Cronulla on December 11 shocked most Australians, as did the violence committed that same week by Lebanese Muslim youths. The ill-feeling created will doubtless take much time to subside, but the fact that white supremacists now feel emboldened is also a problem that must be tackled. Australia’s small number of professional racist thugs believe they have had a success and will be looking to repeat it when and wherever they sense an opportunity. It may take time for the violence to completely subside, but when order is finally restored to Australia’s largest city, it must also be a legal and political priority to ensure that the neo-Nazis are put firmly back in their box.

THE mayor of Sydney’s Sutherland Council has warned members of a white supremacist group to stay away from Cronulla on Australia Day to prevent a repeat of last month’s racial unrest.

The warning came after the Australia First Party urged its members to rally peacefully at Cronulla, the scene of the December 11 race riot, to call for charges against accused rioters to be dropped.

In a statement on its website, the party accuses NSW police of failing to arrest people of Middle-Eastern appearance who were blamed for revenge attacks in beachside suburbs hours after the initial Cronulla violence.

“Patriotic Australians should peacefully assemble in Cronulla on January 26 to register their disgust with selective policing,” Australia First’s message states.

“They can demand that, in view of the selective policing policy of the government, all charges against the Cronulla accused be dropped.”

The NSW Government has denied Opposition claims it has gone soft on ethnic crime, and NSW Police Commissioner Ken Moroney has rejected suggestions Labor politicians instructed police to go easy on Middle-Eastern gangs following last month’s racial unrest.

Sutherland Mayor Kevin Schreiber today called on members of Australia First to avoid Cronulla on January 26, when up to 25,000 people are expected to gather to celebrate Australia Day for fireworks and Opera by the Beach.

Mr Schreiber said Australia Day was a family occasion and he did not want white supremacists inciting racial divisions.

“This is not a day for demonstration and I am greatly disappointed that there are a minority out there who would try to undermine our national day,” he said.

“This council does not support these views and believes our community will rise above their antics for an incredible day of celebration.”

People from all racial backgrounds were welcome to join in Australia Day celebrations at Cronulla, Mr Schreiber said.

Meanwhile, members of the Lebanese community will take part in official Australia Day activities at Paul Keating Park in Bankstown, although there has been no formal event planned by Lebanese community leaders.

Lebanese Muslim Association spokesman Abdul El Ayoubi criticised the Australia First Party for trying to use a national day of celebration at Cronulla to fuel divisions.

“I think they need to stay away,” he said.

“They’re trying to stir up trouble. They’re trying to incite violence between … white Australians and ethnic Australians.”

Mr El Ayoubi said community leaders had urged Lebanese youngsters not to respond to extremist taunts.

“We need to make sure that none of the Lebanese guys take these messages seriously,” he said. “We need to hope and pray nothing happens.”

He called on the Federal Government to consider banning the Australia First Party under its new counter-terrorism legislation.

Comment had been sought from Australia First.

In other interesting developments. It appeared that Aust First’s Jim Saleam plus associated goons tried putting in an appearance at Sutherland Local Court this morning. No, Jim hasn’t been ordering black people’s houses be shot up again, Jim was apparently in attendance to either recruit those people attending court who were charged with racist violence, to anonymously support them or just to stand around outside the court looking creepy in the same suit he has been wearing for the last five years.
